ISLAMABAD: Pakistan women Cricket team reached semi-final of Qualifying Round of ICC Women's World Cup after defeating Holland in a match played at Narayan Ganj Stadium in Fahullah.
Pakistani captain Sana Mir won the toss and elected to bat first. Pakistan set Holland 278-run target; but, the entire Dutch team returned to pavilion at 84 runs in 37th over, a private news channel reported.
Javaria Khan was the top hitter with 67 runs followed by Bisma Mahroof who scored 66 and Nida Dar 57. Captain Sana Mir hit 49 runs.
Bisma Mahroof and Nida Dar also showed brilliance in bowling too and grabbed three wickets each.
Pakistan with this great win, qualified for the ICC Women's World Cup being held next year. (APP)
