Decision on Haqqani will be made after he is heard: PM

PESHAWAR: Prime Minister Yousuf Raza Gilani said Saturday that US Ambassador to Pakistan Husain Haqqani had been called back to the country and it would be inappropriate to make a decision without hearing his stance, Geo News reported.

Gilani while speaking to the media said the government had been tested before and was patient.

The prime minister added that when the US threatened to attack Pakistan, the government took all stakeholders on board by calling the All Parties Conference (APC).

Gilani said the government had cordial relations with the establishment adding that no unconstitutional steps would be allowed.
