LONDON: Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) Chief Altaf Hussain Wednesday rubbished all the allegations against his party, terming them as baseless, concocted and appalling, Geo News reported.
"Offensive allegations like 'Jinnahpur' were also hurled against us in the past but all of them eventually proved wrong," Altaf Hussain asserted in his telephonic address to MQM's Legal Aid Committee and members of Muttahida Lawyers Forum here at party headquarters, Nine Zero.
He said MQM had faced despicable accusations in the past as well of being enemy of the country and foreign agent but it always emerged unblemished.
When asked about the allegations leveled by former Sindh home minister Dr. Zulfiqar Mirza at a press conference on August 28 against MQM and Altaf Hussain, he said: "The allegations are concocted, despicable, loathsome and based on lies that reflected a sick, feudalistic and discriminatory mindset." |
